Co-ed Softball Rules

Any rule or play interpretation not covered in these rules shall be governed by the playing rules of the Amatuer Softball Association (ASA)

1. Team must be ten (10) players in the field (five (5) males & five (5) females). Teams may start with nine (9) players. Teams may start with five (5) males, and four (4) females.

2. Team must alternate male/female in the field. Batting order must alternate male/female.

3. If a pitcher walks a male batter he automatically advances to second base.

4. The intramural department will provide balls.

5. Use only ASA certified bats.

6. Game shall consist seven inning or 50 minutes which ever comes first.

7. Sliding is legal no metal spikes allowed
