Winona State University offers many classes via Interactive Television. ITV entails two-way audio/visual communication between an instructor at one site, and learners at another site through the means of television. By this method, Winona instructors can offer classes in Rochester, Albert Lea, or other remote sites without requiring students to make a lengthy drive. This method of long distance education invites students to participate in educational opportunities that they normally wouldn't have.
