Laptop Learning Lab
|
The Laptop Learning Lab Program was started in the Fall of 2003 for all WSU students. It is designed to compliment the laptop and help all students feel comfortable while enjoying the use of their laptop. Workshops are posted on the WSU Portal each month and students are able to sign up for them online.
Our Laptop Learning Workshops and 1:1 sessions are geared to help students learn the technology skills needed for a laptop university environment. The workshops and 1:1 sessions are offered to students as part of the WSU Laptop Program.
-
1:1 Learning Sessions - for students that would like personalized help. These sessions are available by appointment.
-
Workshops - available for most software applications, networking, multi-media, and advanced tools. These are short workshops (usually one hour) available to all students. Students bring their laptops to the Laptop Learning Lab for hands-on training that is user friendly and fun! The workshops are run by their peers in the STARS program.... "By Students For Students"
We strongly encourage ALL students to take advantage of Laptop Learning Lab technology assistance. Even if students feel that they know software pretty well - there is always something they can learn or share with others. We encourage feedback, comments and suggestions geared toward making the Laptop Learning Lab more informative and enjoyable for all.
More information, workshop signup, help documents, 1:1 information and much more is available to current faculty, staff and students on the MyWSU Portal.
