Note: The classroom lights must be off for the LCD projector

to work with the remote control.

  • Connect VGA cable to VGA port on laptop or powerbook.
  • Connect network cable and/or audio cable if necessary.
  • Aim the remote at the projector, and press the lamp "power on" button, located on the upper left side of the remote control.
  • Press the INPUT button for computer projection (Input 1) or video projection (Input 3)
  • Turn the computer on at this point.
  • If playing a video, turn external speaker on.
  • Press play on the vcr.
  • When there is no INPUT signal for more than 15 minutes, the projector will shut off.
  • Press Light button on bottom of remote for backlight.
  • At the Mouse/Adj location, make sure slide lever is on Adj.
  • When you turn the power off, the LCD will cool down for about 1 minute. During the cool down time, the projector lamp will not turn on.

    Note: Gateway Users: If image appears on the computer, but not on the projection screen, hold the FN button & press F3 to toggle from PC to PC & LCD or LCD.

    Macintosh users: If the image does not appear on the screen, hold the OPTION button & press F7 to goggle the screens.
