TO USE LAPTOP:

•  Connect VGA cord coming out from the ELMO into your laptop.

•  To turn on the LCD, press the ON button located on the remote.

•  Press the INPUT button until you see INPUT 1(computer) or INPUT 3 for video.

•  Turn on the Main Power switch on the ELMO.

•  Press the RGB1 button located on the front panel of the ELMO.

•  Turn on laptop & the image should appear on the screen.

  • Gateway users : If image appears on the computer, but not on the projection screen, hold FN & press F3 to toggle from PC to PC & LCD or LCD.
  • Macintosh users : If the image does not appear on the screen hold the FN button & press F3.

TO USE ELMO:

  • Turn on the LCD projector by pressing the ON button located on the remote control.
  • Press the INPUT button until you see INPUT 1.
  • Press the Main Power button on the front panel of the Elmo.
  • For showing a transparency, press the LAMP button on the front panel until the base light turns on.
  • For projecting printed material or 3-D objects, press the LAMP button on the front panel until the upper lamps turn on.

Video Recording Instructions

  1. Plug monitor & mini-DV VHS player into power outlet.
  2. Turn on each piece.
  3. Check to make sure the camera power is plugged in.
  4. Turn camera on with remote control & choose camera 1 option.
  5. Attach wireless microphone to the person speaking (4-6" below chin)
  6. Check to make sure TV is on correct input (3).
  7. Make sure mini-DV recorder is on Line In by pressing the AUX on the keypad (same as 0).
