To use any of the equipment in this system, you will need a key. Please see someone at the Student Union desk.
1. Place the key in the lock, found on the left side of the cabinet & turn. This turns on the sound system.

2. Unlock the cabinet door. Here you will find the LCD remote control, the DVD player, the VCR, the Cassette Player, & the CD Player.

3. Audio volume control is found on the left side of the sound system cabinet. This controls the volume for the VCR, DVD, LCD, Cassette, CD, Radio, & Microphones. Press the volume up or down buttons, located on the right side of the switch box. If you are having problems with the audio levels, please call Media Services at #5110.
NOTE: Please do not turn ANY of the buttons found inside the cabinet.

4. To lower or raise the screen, press the up or down buttons found on the right side of the stage.

5. Microphone jacks are located on each side of the stage. When reserving the Student Activity Center, you must request a microphone.

6. Internet connection is found against the stage wall.

TO USE LCD PRoJECTOr WITH LAPTOP:

1. The LCD remote is found in the cabinet. Open the cover on the remote, point the remote at the projector & press the power button on the remote control.

2. Press the INPUT button on the remote control until INPUT 1 is projected on the screen.

3. Connect your laptop to the VGA cable found hanging on the sound system cabinet. There is also an audio cable that can be connected to your laptop if necessary.

4. Turn your laptop on at this point.

IF AUDIO IS GOING TO BE PLAYED THROUGH LAPTOP:
1. Make sure audio cable is connected to laptop.
2. In the cabinet there is an AUDIO SELECTOR & VIDEO SELECTOR. Number 3 on the audio selector should be pressed & number 4 on the VIDEO SELECTOR (CPU) should be pressed.

To Use lcd with vhs or dvd:

1. LCD Remote is found in the cabinet. Open the cover on the remote, point the remote at the projector & press the power button on the remote control.
2. Press the INPUT button on the remote until you see INPUT 4 for VIDEO or INPUT 5 for DVD.

3. In the sound cabinet, make sure number 3 on the AUDIO SELECTOR BOX is pressed & number 3 on the VIDEO SELECTOR BOX is pressed if you are showing a VHS tape. If you are showing a DVD, make sure number 3 on the AUDIO SELECTOR is pressed & number 2 on the VIDEO SELECTOR is pressed.

4. Place your VHS tape or DVD in the VHS or DVD player.

To Use CASSETTE, Cd, or radio:

1. Place the key in the lock, found on the left side of the cabinet & turn. This turns on the sound system.
2. Unlock the cabinet door.

3. If playing an audio cassette tape, make sure number 1 is pressed on the AUDIO SELECTOR BOX.
4. If playing a cd, make sure number 2 on the AUDIO SELECTOR BOX is pressed.

5. To play the radio through the sound system, press number 1 (TUNNER) on the VIDEO SELECTOR BOX.
