The tape is a legitimate copy.
The tape relates to a part of the course and not for entertainment, recreation or cultural value of any part of the audience.
The tape is presented by either the instructor or the students.
The tape is played in a classroom or other places devoted to instruction.
The tape is played as part of the teaching activities of nonprofit educational institutions.
Viewing is limited to instructors, students and guest lecturers in a specific class.
Criminal copyright infringement is investigated by the FBI and may constitute a felony with a maximum penalty of up to five years in prision and/or a $250,000 fine.
