What is my WSU Email Username?

Your WSU Email Username is the account name that you use to access a wide variety of WSU resources. You use that name to log into your WSU Email account, your WSU D2L account, and your WSU laptop computer. For students, it often ends with the two digits of a year, ex. JSmith09. For faculty and staff, it is often the first initial and last name, ex. AEinstein. It does not include the "@winona.edu" part of the email address.

Where is my WSU ID Barcode?

Your WSU ID Barcode is 14-digit barcode number (begins "2010600...") found on the back of your WSU student or staff ID card. NOTE: If you are a community patron with a courtesy card, that barcode will not work to access online databases off- campus. The password you type in with the barcode is usually your last name.

If you have never gotten a WSU ID, you probably have been assigned a WSU barcode without knowing it. To inquire about your barcode or other problems with accessing the Proxy Server, Contact WSU Library staff or call (507) 457-5149.
