What do I need to check out equipment from the IG?
A valid WSU ID card - no exceptions. If you do not have your ID we can make accomodations, such as letting you use a power supply or network cable at the desk. This rule is in place to ensure that all students are treated fairly.
How long may I keep what I check out from the IG?
Items lent by the IG are for in-library use only and must be returned by the time the library closes for the day. If an item is not returned your student account will be billed for the replacement cost of the item. While the charge remains on your account, you will be unable to register for classes, view your grades, or graduate.
How do I add a printer?
Where can I print in color?
Color printing is available in Somsen 207 (the Technical Support office). The cost of color printing varies depending upon the amount of ink coverage on the page. Color printing is billed to your student account. Payment can be made in the business office in Somsen.
What is my username?
The general format for the username is first initial, full last name, year of admittance, @winona.edu.
Thus, if your name was Steve Jobs and you started in 2007, your username would be email@example.com
If you have a more common name, like John Smith, your middle initial or another letter of your first name may also be used to differentiate you. Or if your last name is particularly long, it may be truncated.

What is my password?"
Technical Support manages all network-related passwords. If you have forgotten
yours, call 457-5240 to have the password reset.
If you are having trouble logging into a library database from off campus, please call the Reference Desk at 457-5146 to have a library staff member check your library account.
