Native American Heritage Month - Winona LaDuke (11/17/2014)

A Native American activist and an advocate for environmental, women's, and children's rights, Winona LaDuke was Ralph Nader's running mate for his presidential campaigns in 1996 and 2000. She is the founder and campaign director of the White Earth Land Recovery Project, a reservation-based land acquisition, environmental advocacy, and cultural organization. A prominent human rights speaker, she is also founder and co-chair of the Indigenous Women's Network.

Environmental speaker Winona LaDuke takes her audiences on a ride that opens their minds to what is going on with the environment. She speaks on subjects such as the deterioration of Native American reservations and the devastation of the world's rain forests.
