Winona State University is located in Winona, Minnesota, a scenic and welcoming community nestled in the bluffs of the upper Mississippi River Valley. Winona offers a number of recreational, cultural, and entertainment opportunities and is within easy driving distance of La Crosse, Wisconsin (approximately 30 minutes), Rochester (45 minutes), and Minneapolis-St. Paul (2 hours).

Three campuses make up Winona State:  the Original and West Campuses in Winona, and the WSU-Rochester campus in Rochester, Minnesota.
