Danielle is a second year student at Winona State University.  She is from Exeland, WI, a small town in northwest Wisconsin with a population of 220 people.  She fell in love with mathematics when she was in elementary school in Exeland and she knew that she would do something in this field when she was older.  While growing up her mom and dad always pushed her to do the best she could in whatever she was doing.

Being from a small town there weren’t a lot of opportunities when it came to education, so now that she is here at Winona State University, she says, “I am taking advantage of my opportunities and going after my goal of attaining a double major in Mathematics and Statistics”.  She has been on the Dean’s List all three semesters she has been here.  She takes pride in her grades and the knowledge she learns in the classroom. She is excited to apply what she is learning in an on-the-job situation.

Currently she is the Vice President of the Mathematics & Statistics Club along with being an active member of the WSU choir at Cathedral Church of Winona. She also has some other hobbies that she enjoys spending time doing.  She loves sports, especially the game of basketball.
