Dr. Ruth Bures

Ruth Anfinson Bures recieved a Bachelor of Music Education degree form Drake University, a Master in Education and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from St. Mary's University. She has had experience teaching elementary classroom music, junior high general and choral music, elementary band and choral music, and private piano and clarinet lessons. She is the composer of Here Comes Christmas, a Christmas program of 11 original songs published by Clarus Music, Ltd. and Ruth's Original Songs For Children, a collection of over 150 songs designed for use in preschool or primary classroom. Ruth teaches Music for Elementary Teachers, Recreational Music, Piano Class, Guitar Methods, and Music Appreciation.
