Story by: WSU Office of University Communication
Winona State University announces an Energy Saving Tip Sheet is available on its WSU Goes Green Web site.
The sheet offers ways to save energy university-wide and off-campus. The list includes suggestions such as: turn off computers and monitors when not using them for more than half an hour; turn off or unplug equipment and appliances, such as coffeemakers, shredders, fans, battery chargers, etc. that are not in use; keep hallway doors closed; replace incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescents; and add or replace door seals.
