Winona State University is pleased to announce the release of a Warrior basketball fan video featured on the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Web site.

The video includes interviews with WSU student athletes, the WSU men's basketball head coach and athletic director, WSU employees, and community members. The clip features footage of Warrior basketball game festivities and fans, with special segments on the well-known half-time entertainer "Cotton-Eyed Joe" and student fans with painted bodies.

When Commissioner Butch Raymond showed the clip at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Board of Directors meeting WSU President Judith Ramaley said she "beamed proudly."

"This is a lovely piece about a wonderful program and a superb 'game environment,'" said Ramaley, noting the university has pledged its support for the WSU basketball program.
