| Travel Study Travel study programs are designed to encourage students to engage in critical thinking, experience first-hand the value systems and diverse lifestyles of other cultures, and participate in meaningful service learning projects. Oftentimes interdisciplinary, these programs enhance student global and cultural awareness through constant engagement and reflection. |

How OCED Assists the Program OCED assists members to ensure that each travel study program becomes a meaningful educational experience for the students. While faculty determine curricular content and student learning outcomes, OCED can assist in preparing the budget, travel logistics, and marketing.
