New Student Parking Information

Welcome to Winona State University. A permit is required to park in all campus parking lots. Permit locations are awarded based on your residence hall. Students who do not reside on campus should apply for a commuter permit. Types of permits students may apply for are listed below.

Permit applications for new incoming freshmen will be accepted starting May 1st. You must know your residence hall room assignment to apply.

Permits awarded will be mailed by August 10th to the address listed on the application. Waiting lists will be established once permits are sold out for a particular lot. It is to your benefit to mark both a first and second choice on your application.

Students living on Main Campus may apply for:
Silver
Cycle (Gray)
Handicap (Blue)
Sustainability

Students living on West Campus may apply for:
Green and Tan
Cycle (Gray)
Handicap (Blue)

Student commuters may apply for:
Gold
Purple
Cycle (Gray)
Handicap (Blue)
