YOGESH GROVER |

Yogesh Grover joined Winona State in 1988. He teaches courses in comparative politics and international relations. His specialty is in Asian politics and his areas of interest include South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc.), East Asia (China and Japan), and international political economy. In addition to teaching for the Political Science Department, Dr. Grover also teaches courses for the Global Studies Program of which he is the director at Winona State University. He was also on the panel of reviewers for Pacific Affairs, a journal published from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and his book reviews were published in this journal for sometime.. Dr. Grover taught at Hindu College, Delhi University from 1976-1980. He also received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Delhi University. In 1989 Dr. Grover completed his Ph.D. from University of Missouri-Columbia. Apart from teaching Dr. Grover is also the faculty advisor to the WSU United Nations Club which participates in Model UN conferences every year. He is also a member of the WSU Global Studies Program Council which manages this program. Additionally, Dr. Grover maintains active memberships in the Association of Asian Studies, the Association of South Asian Studies, and the American Political Science Association. |
