Dr. Ahmed E-Afandi was awarded the John Latsch Human Rights Award by the Winona Human Rights Commission in October 2002. He had won this award last year as well. The department of political science and public administration is proud to have one of its members recognized by the community. Congratulations Dr. El-Afandi!

Dr. Ahmed El-Afandi will complete his phased retirement in the Fall term of 2006. Plans for his replacement are underway.
