I enjoy working with the dedicated team of staff members in our office of Admissions.  The mission of the Winona State University Office of Admissions is to expedite the transition from high school and community to the university setting while providing leadership in enrollment management as defined by the University and its mission.  This will be accomplished in a timely, positive, and professional manner befitting the standards of a quality university.

  • Contact person for alumni representative(s) who visits Illinois high schools and attend college night programs on behalf of WSU
  • Input computer data
  • Generate computer data, on request, to various departments on campus
  • Assist counselors in contacts with prospective/admitted students in their high school/college visits
  • Processes all budgetary requests in the office

     Overall processing of transfer student applications:

  • Maintaining the files of the transfer students and all the records connected with that
  • Entering the student’s transfer credits and other information into the student records computer system
  • Handling mailings to transfer students
  • Answering questions that transfer students may have about the admission process and their status
  • Assisting the Transfer Coordinators with their duties
