FALL SEMESTER 2008 REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Class Schedules
The final class schedules will be available for viewing on Friday, March 16.

Registration Windows
Registration windows for 2008 Fall Semester registration will begin opening on Monday, April 14. The complete schedule of registration windows is available by clicking on 'Web Registration Windows' on the menu on the left side of this screen. You can check your personal window by going into Web Registration, clicking on the 'Registration' menu tab and then on 'Registration Window'.

Advising

The advising period for Fall Semester 2008 begins on Wednesday, April 2.

All undergraduate students enrolling in Winona campus courses are required to have an advising session with their academic advisor prior to registering. Registration Access Codes (required to register for Winona courses) will be given to students when they meet with their advisors.  Your advisor will be listed on your DARS (Degree Auditing Reporting System) report.

You will need to bring two items with you to your advising session--a copy of your DARS and a copy of your academic record:

DARS:

         From the winona.edu homepage, click on 'Register'
         Click on 'Registration' at the bottom of the screen
         Enter your Warrior ID and pin number to log in
         Click on the 'Student' tab
         Click on 'Degree Audit' on left menu
         Your DARS report will appear and can be printed

Academic Record:

FOR FALL 2007:  

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION FOR NON PAYMENT

Students who have not met one of the tuition payment requirements by August 29 will be removed from their courses.  See www.winona.edu/billing for full details.

·       Drop/Add Classes:  Dropping and adding classes may be done on the Web or at the Registrar’s Office Service Window. The Registrar’s Office Service Window will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., August 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29st.

·       Web Registration:  The deadline for adding classes on the Web is Friday,  August 29th, at 11:59 p.m.

·       Blue Closed Class Permit Form:  Classes requiring instructor’s approval to register (blue cards) may be added at the Registrar’s Office Service Window.  The deadline for turning in blue cards is Thursday, September 4.  Blue cards are available from the instructor or department offering the class.·       Drop Classes With Full Refund:  Classes may be dropped on the Web through Friday, August 29th, at 11:59 p.m. Classes dropped through this date will be completely removed from the student’s academic record.

·       Withdrawal From Classes:  Students may withdraw from classes on the Web from Saturday, August 30th, through Thursday, November 6 at 11:59 p.m. This will create a grade of “W” on the student’s academic record.

Withdrawals will not be permitted after November 6.

·       Changing Grading Method:  The deadline to change grading method (Pass/no credit, A’ through ‘F,’ or Audit) is Friday, August 29th at 11:59 p.m.

NOTE:  STUDENTS WILL NEED TO CHECK THEIR ONLINE TUITION AND FEE STATEMENT IF ANY COURSE CHANGES ARE MADE.

STUDENTS WILL BE CHARGED TUITION AND FEES FOR CLASSES NOT DROPPED ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1.
