Endings and Beginnings — Life is full of endings, beginnings and the transitions between. The courses in this theme will explore those endings and beginnings through art, theatre, literature and history.

You will be pre-registered in three courses, total.
Introduction to Higher Education: Endings & Beginnings (Orientation)
and either
College Reading and Writing or Fundamentals of Speech Communication
plus one of the following courses below:

Topics in World Literature

Time, Death and Memory in European Literature. This course utilizes European literature to explore time, death and memory. The course is a general introduction to the literature of differing cultures.

 

What is Theatre

This class is designed for the general student. The content of the course will explore the theme of endings, transitions and beginnings through plays and the theatre.

U.S. History to 1865

History is full of endings and new beginnings. This course will focus on the history of the United States from its origins to the Civil War.
