Travel Opportunities
From time to time throughout the year, various student, faculty and alumni groups take trips; Minneapolis Guthrie Theatre, various museums, and other events in the Twin Cities, even abroad. We hope to pass along these opportunities to Retirees and Emeriti as they become available. These low-cost excursions present another opportunity for continuing participation in the life of the University -- and they're fun!
London, England
If a trip to London, England is of interest to you, Dr. David Bratt is also tentatively planning a trip for May 2007, for about 10-11 days, immediately following Spring Commencement in May. Retirees and spouses are welcome as are current faculty and staff. Anyone who wants more information is invited to email Dr. David Bratt at dbratt@winona.edu .
Travel Study
Travel study programs are designed to encourage students to engage in critical thinking, experience first-hand the value systems and diverse lifestyles of other cultures, and participate in meaningful service learning projects. Oftentimes interdisciplinary, these programs enhance student global and cultural awareness through constant engagement and reflection.
