WSU Retiree Center initiated and continues to oversee the university’s WSU Living History Project which preserves the insights of longtime WSU faculty, staff and administrators during their careers. In collaboration with WSU Mass Communication students’ senior projects, this initiative will compile an oral history library of former employees’ experiences, accomplishments and contributions to Winona State University and the community.

Compilation of honorees for future documentation is ongoing. All retirees have made notable contributions and the Living History Project wants to become an archival source for the University of the members that have facilitated the growth and development of the students, institution and co-workers of Winona State University.
