Psychology

WSU-Rochester Center offers the Psychology major, which when combined with an undergraduate minor such as Sociology, Business or Computer Science can lead to the completion of a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Through the 2+2 Program, students can complete this Bachelor of Arts degree in its entirety in Rochester by completing lower division credits at Rochester Community and Technical College and the major's upper division credits at WSU-RC.

To graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a total of 128 credits are required.  Normally, 64 credits can be transferred from a two-year institution and the remainder can be taken from WSU or transferred from a four-year institution. At least 30 semester hours must be taken from WSU.

Students should consult with a Psychology Department advisor to plan their major in Psychology as soon as possible.  All Psychology majors are strongly encouraged to take Statistics and Experimental Psychology early in their educational career.  The particular elective courses students take, along with their sequencing, depends upon their background, special interests and goals.
