Graduate Programs in Nursing

The Winona State University Graduate program is located on the University Center Rochester (UCR) campus in Rochester, MN, a dynamic community which has been named by Money Magazine as "Most Livable City in America" six times in the last nine years. As a student in the Graduate Programs in Nursing at WSU, you would be the beneficiary of a state of the art curriculum developed and implemented by an experienced and supportive faculty. As a graduate of the program, you would join a distinguished group of alumni who have a 100% first time pass-rate on national certification exams. They are in high demand by local, regional and nationally based heath care institutions and agencies.

The Graduate Programs in Nursing offers program areas in Adult/Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult/Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nursing and Organizational Leadership, and Nurse Educator. The Program also offers  Graduate Certificates (in the same focus areas stated above) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Graduate Certificate options for Adult/Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Educator incorporate distance education technology providing opportunities for students located outside the region.
