Winona State University-Rochester is co-located with the Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) in Southeast Rochester, Minnesota. The WSU-Rochester campus is approximately 50 miles west of the main Winona State University campus in Winona, Minnesota.
Parking and vehicle regulations ensure the safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the College. Although general security patrol is provided, lock your vehicle at all times and to secure valuables out of sight. WSU-R/RCTC is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of vehicles or other property of those using College facilities.
Campus visitors can park in any Student Parking lot on campus. No vehicle registration or permits are required. Signs are located at the entrances of the parking lots. Visitors are not required to register their vehicles.
Visitors should not park in faculty/staff parking lots. Permits are required in faculty/staff parking lots.

There are two designated faculty/staff parking lots on the WSU-R/RCTC Main Campus. The designated areas are located in the East and West parking lots of the main campus. Signs are located at the entrances of the parking lots.
Faculty/staff are required to register their motor vehicles and will be issued a parking permit. Faculty and staff can contact RCTC Cashier’s Office for additional details.
Special Permit Parking
WSU-R/RCTC has a number of handicap spaces to accommodate those individuals who possess a valid Handicap Parking Permit. Handicap and special permit parking is available near the entrances of the campus buildings. Vehicles in handicap designated parking areas need to be registered with the State of Minnesota and displaying an appropriate placard. Contact RCTC Security to request a special permit for parking.
When You Arrive on Campus
The WSU-R/RCTC Welcome Center is located on the WSU-R/RCTC main campus, first floor in the Atrium entrance. To find the WSU-R Student and Campus Service Office (SCS) enter through the Atrium entrance and take a left and walk through the Student Services (SS) building/hallway. The SCS Office is located on the first floor next to the RCTC Cashier’s office in office suite SS128.
