RTTR Travel Study: Costa Rica

Two weeks in Costa Rica (May 12th – May 27th)

6 semester credits

Cost: $3,500 (The fee includes lodging, airfare, 2 meals per day, internal transportation, tuition (6credits), and incidentals. The fee does not include lunch and river rafting/surfing)

Costa Rica Travel Study starts and ends at San Jose, and includes visits to Dominical, Monteverde, and Arenal. The studies included in each trip are listed as:

• Dominical: Research data collection activities
• Monteverde (Cloud Forest): Data analysis, hiking activities
• Arenal (Volcano): Geosciences, sightseeing
• San Jose: Project presentations, Souvenirs, River rafting

To prepare for Dominical Research Project, four pre-trip meetings are held in March/April.
