Scholarships

WSU Foundation Scholarship recipients are selected by the WSU Foundation Scholarship Committee, they are charged to seek excellence in qualities of mind and in qualities of person, and their goal is to make an investment in individuals.

Helpful information for scholarship applications, details vary with each scholarship:

• Essay: Present yourself-position your skills & strengths
• Pay attention to detail
• Proof read - have someone else proof read your application & essay
• Be authentic-draw a portrait of yourself
• Organize & prioritize you application and essay
• Send complete application: (5 copies)
  • First & last name (include on every page submitted), current & home address, phone, social security number
  • Permission to request a copy of FAFSA report
  • Transcripts (unofficial printed from On-line Registration Web Page)
  • Essay
  • Letter of Reference
  • Major
