Internships

WSU Social Work provides internship opportunities for students through Field Experience (SOCW350) and Practicum (SOCW475). Each student participates in a unique learning opportunity.

Community Involvement

While working as an entry-level social work practitioner, each student is engaged in community programs and services and applies classroom learning in the field setting.

Over 200 Agencies

Presently, WSU Social Work collaborates with over 200 community agencies and human service organizations (e.g., county department, non-profits, charities, nursing homes, international service centers, etc.).

Professional Supervision

A faculty liaison (WSU) and a field instructor (agency) are assigned to each student and provide guidance and supervision during the internship.
