Charlie Swayne is faculty emeritus from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he created the course in Sports Marketing. He has presented sports marketing topics to audiences at numerous universities. He has been a health club owner for more than 35 years and has consulted health clubs, studios, hospitals and gyms worldwide. An author of four books and more than 50 magazine articles, he has appeared on more than 100 television and radio shows. Recent accolades include being named a health club “Industry Legend” and the “Excellence in Teaching” award from Upper Iowa University.
