Spring 2013 Commencement Speaker Applications

Student Senate is accepting applications for the Spring Commencement Speaker position

We are seeking:

-One speaker from the College of Business OR Liberal Arts - Morning Ceremony at 9:30 AM

-One speaker for the College of Education, Nursing and Health Sciences, OR Science and Engineering - Afternoon Ceremony at 2:00 PM

Applicants must submit a simple outline of their speech. The speakers will be selected based on:

• Involvement on campus
• Public speaking skills
• The content of his/her message

Selection Process Timeline

• Online Applications Open: March 4 - 25
• Interviews/Auditions with Student Senate Academic Affairs Committee: March 25 - 29
• Speaker Selected: April 2
• Commencement Ceremonies: May 10
