TRiO Student Support Services

We’re here for you!

TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) is a program which helps eligible students reach their goal of graduation as well as promotes confidence that lasts a lifetime.  Our advisors work with you confidentially to provide encouragement and advice, counseling, course selection, career exploration, and just be there FOR YOU.  This past spring semester, over 60 participants in the SSS program took advantage of over 350 hours of tutoring!

Are you eligible for SSS?

We are funded by a federal grant through the U.S. Department of Education and serve 225 students per year.  Our program serves students who:

  • Are first-generation (neither parent has a 4 year college degree) or
  • Are low-income (have financial need and meet federal low-income guidelines) or
  • Have a documented disability (registered with WSU Access Services)
  • Have a need for academic support

If you think we can help, we’d love to meet you!  Simply call 507.457.5465 to set up an appointment, or stop by our office in Library 219.
