The program is intended for international students interested in studying at Hebei University of Technology for a semester (14-15 weeks) or summer session (10 weeks). HUT is located in Tianjin, China's third largest city and approximately 90 minutes from Beijing. HUT has over 25,000 highly qualified students in undergraduate and graduate programs. The program for WSU students aims to introduce the students to the Chinese language, culture, society, international business and history.

Cultural Tours: |
- Beijing: The Forbidden City, Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, The Great Wall and other places of historic interests.
- Xi'an: The Terra-cotta Warriors.
- Tianjin: Panshan Mountain, Dingling Tombs
(Note: the expenses of the cultural tours are not covered in the tuition) |

Intercultural Communication with Chinese Students:
- School visits (visit four campuses of HUT, Nankai University and Tainjin University)
- Each student will have a Chinese Linguistic Exchange partner
- Sports activities- ping pong, volleyball, basketball
- Celebration of Traditional Chinese festivals, Dragon Boat Festival (June 11 & Mid-autumn Day- September 18)
- Learn how to make dumplings and Goubuli Baozi with Chinese Students
