The program through Mexico is located in the district of Cuernavaca.  The city is located in a pleasant valley

one and one-half hours south of Mexico City.  The Universidad Internacional-The Center for Linguistic Multicultural Studies- is considered the "most attractive learning center in Cuernavaca."

The Spanish Department offers language programs for students at every proficiency level and offers classes for advancement in all language basics and cultural appreciation.

This program offers courses in Spanish, Humanities, Social Science, and Art.  There is also the option of taking a 1-3 credit internship with medical personnel, social work, business and economics, education, Mexican criminal justice, and hotel and restaurant management.  Spanish classes directly correlate with WSU Spanish classes.  Other classes, including internships, require pre-approval from individual departments.

Also available are the programs half-day, full-day, or weekend trips to several of Mexico's most interesting locations!
