Vicki Decker, Director of Career Services, recently presented at the Minnesota Department of Education Recruitment Best Practice Training session held in Mankato.   Participants included K-12 district administrators, principals and human resources managers from Minnesota. Decker represented the Minnesota College and University Career Services Association of which she is a past president.  

 

Susan Hatfield, Assessment Coordinator, participated in a full-day preconference workshop at the National Academic Chairpersons Conference, on Monday, Feb. 7., in Orlando. She also presentated a two hour session on Wednesday, Feb. 8, the first day of the conference.

Hatfield was approached last minute by the conference planners to fill in for the Thursday keynoter, who was ill.

The introductory comments, from Dr. Bill Pallett, of Kansas State University, announced, "It is my pleasure to introduce today’s keynote speaker, Susan Hatfield...The Academic Chairpersons Conference is indeed fortunate to have people of Susan’s stature supporting this conference in many ways.  We are deeply appreciative of Susan’s going “beyond the call” and, agreeing on very short notice to serve as today’s keynoter".
