Two Students Raise Money for Stroke Awareness

Two Winona State Students (Lora Bullert and Julia Fischer) have joined with the Train to End Stroke Program and the American Stroke Association to raise money for stroke awareness and research. Through the Train to End Stroke Program, Bullert and Fischer are working with others to train for a marathon in Phoenix, Ariz. In order for them to make it to Phoenix in January, they need to raise a total of $7,000. Culvers of Winona is working with the American Stroke Association by donating 10% of their sales on Monday, Nov. 22, from 5-8 pm. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and help these students raise awareness in the community, and support the efforts of the Train to End Stroke program.
