The Winona State University Department of Music presents "Holiday
Memories," a program by the WSU Piano Ensemble, Sunday, Dec. 5, at 4:30
p.m., in the Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center. Directed by
Barbara DuFresne, the Piano Ensemble provides students the opportunity to
experience and perform piano music for more than one player. In addition to duets and two-piano music, a trio and three quintets are
scheduled to perform. From arrangements of traditional carols to jazz
variations on "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," 16 piano ensembles
will create a holiday mood and bring on remembrances of holidays past.
