The National Broadcasting Society at Winona State University is cleaning up the highway on Sunday May 1.
The chapter is responsible for a section of Highway 61 in Winona, which they clean up at least twice a year.
“It’s nice to go out and give something back to the community,” said member, Brian Mogren.
This is just one of many community service projects the chapter is committed to throughout the year.
