WSU Offers Program to Eliminate Waste in the Work Place

Winona State University, St. Paul College and University of Wisconsin-Stout are partnering to offer a Lean/Flow certificate program.

The Lean/Flow certificate program is an accelerated, five-day training workshop that trains business leaders to eliminate forms of waste in the work place.  Program certification is structured to groom key individuals in an organization to be in-house Lean/Flow experts.

Barb Larsen, program administrator, said Lean/Flow certification is ideal for any company.

“We chose the certification approach to Lean/Flow training because it gives both the quickest impact on the bottom line and greatest long-term payoff through increased capacity,” Larsen said.  “Certification offers the most current, results-orientated training available in Lean/Flow principles,” she added.

The program offers five, eight hour classes in Winona, Rochester and St. Paul beginning at the end of March.
