Students can get involved in 250 clubs and organizations, intramural sports, intercollegiate athletics, and student union activities.

WSU is home to annual Shakespeare, Beethoven, and independent film festivals.
WSU is located in Winona, a classic river town with 29,000 people.

Hike, bike, ski, or enjoy nature in the towering bluffs that overlook campus. Or, walk, rollerblade, or play a round of Frisbee golf around beautiful Lake Winona just south of campus.
More than half of Winona State students are involved in community service or volunteer work.
Students who get engaged perform better academically, and say they get more out of their WSU experience.
Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, after-school mentoring, and coaching youth sports are a few of the of the organizations WSU students get involved with.
While most students receive some type of financial aid, the reality is that many work to help pay for their education.
