Welcome Week highlights for faculty and staff include the All University Welcome at 1 pm Monday, August 15. The All-University Fall Picnic at 4:30 pm Monday, August 15 and the WSU-Rochester Kick-Off Picnic at 4:30 pm Thursday, August 20.

Faculty & Staff Welcome

Monday, August 15, 1pm - 3pm

All WSU faculty and staff are invited to attend the WSU All-University Faculty and Staff Welcome on Monday, August 15, from 1pm - 3 pm in the Vivian R. Fusillo Main Stage Theatre. The event will include a State of the University address by WSU President Scott R. Olson and an introduction of new faculty, staff and administrators.

Fall Family Picnic

Join us for the annual All-University Fall Picnic 4:30 - 6:30 pm Monday, August 15 at the Science Lab Center Atrium & outside rain or shine.

All-University New Student Welcome and Picnic

Wednesday, August 17, Noon

All WSU faculty and staff are invited to attend the WSU New Student Picnic at between 11 am - 12:30 pm on Wednesday, August 17 between Somsen & the Performance Arts Center.

This is the official University Welcome Picnic for Fall 2016 freshmen, transfer and international students. Join us to help welcome the new students and make them feel part of the WSU community.

Wear your purple to this informal event--no regalia required!

Please Note: In the past WSU New Student Welcome Ceremony's were open to all WSU Faculty and Staff. Due to the McCown Gym renovation the Welcome Ceremony location has changed and has limited space. Only new students will be invited to attend. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at the New Student Picnic.

Thursday, August 18, 1:30 pm- 2 pm Reception followed by Meeting 2 pm - 3 pm

All WSU faculty and staff are invited to attend the Academic Year Dessert Reception and Faculty/Staff Meeting Thursday, August 18. The reception will take place in HS 128 and be followed by the Faculty/Staff meeting  from 2 pm - 3 pm in HS 128.
