The Winona State Wrestling Club traveled to Lakeland, Florida to compete in the NCWA National Tournament.
Josh Arndt was the only participant from Winona State to compete in the tournament and left with All-American honors taking eighth place.
With just one competitor, Winona State took 47th out of 75 teams, scoring 7.5 points.
This was Winona State Wrestling Club’s first season as a club team.
“It was an exciting and fun first season, and I look forward to doubling the amount of competitors next year,” said Derek Olson, president and coach of Winoan State’s Wrestling Club.
