Located in Minné 348, the Writing Center offers WSU students free, individualized instruction in all aspects of writing. The mission of the Writing Center is to help students in all disciplines use writing as an effective tool for learning, communication, self-expression, and critical thinking. To this end, staff in the Writing Center work closely with students, faculty, and administrators to help students become capable, successful writers.

If you are interested in using the Writing Center, please make an appointment to meet with one of the tutors. To make an appointment, you can call us at 457-5505; e-mail us at wcenter@winona.edu; or, as most students do, stop by Minné 348 and sign up for one. We give appointments priority over drop-in traffic, but we often can see students on a drop-in basis.
