On March 20, join us for Dr. Aaron Lohmeyer’s presentation, “Reading Sound: Freedom and Constraint within Music Media Designs.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music media changed rapidly in the 20th century, and Dr. Lohmeyer’s presentation will provide a rough overview of text design changes and how the act of reading sound presents both freedoms and constraints for the reader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This talk also discusses how musical media may either support or discourage democratic beliefs regarding self-expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This presentation is through the Consortium for Liberal Arts & Sciences Promotion (CLASP) series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
