We’re pleased to welcome Common Book author Mary Roach to campus on Oct. 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary will be sharing some of her recent work related to her book “Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law,” especially about the complicated relationships between humans and other animals. She plans to share her latest research with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary is considered one of the most entertaining science writers today. She has written for National Geographic, Wired, and The New York Times Magazine, among others, and her TED talk made the TED 20 Most Watched list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has also been a guest editor for Best American Science and Nature Writing, a finalist for the Royal Society\u2019s Winton Prize, and a winner of the American Engineering Societies\u2019 journalism award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Learn More about This Year’s Common Book<\/span>\n<\/a>\n\n
