WSU&#8217;s Music Business program will prepare you for a career in many fields of the ever-expanding music industry.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/w3.winona.edu\/DataServices\/WSUCatalog\/2942\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/w3.winona.edu\/DataServices\/WSUCatalog\/2942\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Music Business major<\/a>\u00a0is\u00a084-85 credits, and includes a combination of courses in music, arts administration, and business.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our program is designed to provide students with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a strong background in music<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a knowledge of business principles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a broad understanding of the music industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of our music-specific courses include core music curriculum, studio lessons, and ensemble performance opportunities. Students will also complete a music internship and independent studies, giving them real-world experience in an area of their choice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The business courses in this program focus on economics, finance, marketing, and the legal side of business.
