You will not only receive guidance in the classroom, but also in healthcare settings and our simulation space.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-block tabs\">\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-nav\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-1\">Winona &amp; Rochester Campuses<\/button>\n<button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-2\">Clinical Partners<\/button>\n<button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-3\">Simulation Space<\/button>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-content\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Winona &amp; Rochester Campuses<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>After completing prerequisites, students apply to the upper division nursing major. Once admitted, students are assigned to either the Winona or Rochester Campus.<\/p>\n<p>Students assigned to the Rochester Campus attend upper division nursing classes at WSU-Rochester. Students assigned to the Winona Campus continue to attend classes in Winona.<\/p>\n<p>Campus assignment determines the facilities where students complete clinical experiences.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Clinical Partners<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>WSU partners with numerous healthcare providers throughout the region to provide clinical experiences for students.<\/p>\n<p>Primary Hospital-based clinical partners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Winona Health, Winona, MN<\/li>\n<li>Gundersen Health System, La Crosse, WI<\/li>\n<li>Mayo Clinic Health System locations in Cannon Falls, MN, Lake City, MN, and La Crosse, WI<\/li>\n<li>Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus, Rochester, MN<\/li>\n<li>Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus, Rochester, MN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>WSU nursing students also complete clinical experiences in community and public health.<\/p>\n<p>Sites for community and public health clinicals include public health departments, schools, after school programs, and community agencies.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<button class=\"tabs__mobile__toggle\">Simulation Space<\/button>\n<div class=\"tabs__content__item\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><div><p>The simulation space at WSU creates a unique learning environment that promotes independent student learning and collaboration between nursing students and their respective faculty mentors.<\/p>\n<p>Simulation learning is grounded in practical experience in an environment that mirrors the patient or client care setting. Simulation learning experiences are designed with defined learning outcomes and allow students to be independent in their learning.<\/p>\n<p>Simulation is embedded within the nursing curriculum and affords students the opportunity to implement their knowledge and skills related to the nursing process, therapeutic communication, critical thinking, teamwork and leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Within the WSU nursing curriculum, simulation sessions occur throughout the program in the following areas of nursing practice:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical\/Surgical Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Pediatric Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Obstetrical Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Geriatric Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Public Health Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Community Health Nursing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n class=\"h3\">RN-BS Completion Facilities<\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<p>Just because this program is based online, doesn\u2019t mean students miss out on real-life clinical experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-block tabs\">\n\n    <div class=\"tabs-nav\">\n        <button class=\"tabs__toggle\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" id=\"tabbed-1\">Program
