In the College of Science & Engineering, students explore opportunities to enter a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEM classes challenge students to think critically, solve problems, and develop mental habits that will help them succeed in any field. Every major in the College of Science & Engineering teaches critical thinking and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We encourage our students to explore new ideas through challenging courses, distinctive experiences, and hands-on opportunities. STEM embraces the idea of coming up with solutions to unique problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEM jobs are the future of our global economy. With a robust job market and solid wages, students will find exceptional opportunities to explore the world and become the next generation of innovators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teamwork and collaboration are key aspects of WSU’s STEM classes. Whether working together on a coding project, science lab, or engineering challenge, students develop interpersonal and professional communication skills that they’ll need in the workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
