Students should plan for a GPA of 2.75 or higher for affiliate consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the off campus clinical affiliate, students complete additional classes and rotate through areas within the medical laboratory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"panel panel--white\">\n        <div class=\"panel__container\">\n            <div class=\"panel__intro\">\n                        <\/div>\n            \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Careers&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Medical Laboratory Scientists serve in a variety of roles in the workplace, including:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Medical laboratory generalists in hospitals, clinics, or in reference laboratories<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical laboratory specialists in areas of the clinical laboratory, such as microbiology &amp;
